Francesca Anfossi was born in Italy but now lives and works in London. The artist holds an MFA in painting from the Slade School of Fine Art, 2008. Francesca's work often takes the form of either ceramics, workshops, cooking classes or communal events and these offer the participants opportunities to learn new skills and form new social bonds. The ceramic artworks celebrate functionality and exchange, based on some of our most basic activities such as cooking, playing and sharing. This artist's eclectic work takes on a collaborative and playful approach to craftsmanship.
Francesca Anfossi is the co-founder and director of Rochester Square, a dynamic pottery studio in Camden. Rochester Square is dedicated to socially-engaging projects and artistic collaborations.
